As you know (I hope), I’ll be taking the NI Innovative Teacher winners to Berlin from March 22nd-26th to compete and showcase their work at the Microsoft Western Europe Innovative Education Forum. Matt McGinley (with Kevin O’Neill, Neil Watson and Ciaran O’Hare) will be representing Christ the Redeemer Primary in West Belfast and Barry Corrigan will be representing Millennium Integrated Primary in Saintfield. They have completed their entry Virtual Classroom Tours (VCTs) and I have uploaded them onto my SkyDrive for you to be able to look at these stellar examples of delivering meaningful and collaborative learning to Primary school students. Along with them you will find the VCT from Ursula Hynes who working with her colleague, David Walsh, have won the RoI competition with their entry entitled “My Study Mate”. I had suggested to Matt and Barry that they create videos telling a story about their respective schools. Well, they listened and here they are. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
