In case you have forgotten, we’re preparing to compete at this year’s European Innovative Education Forum (IEF) in Moscow this month.
This year’s NI winner, Christine Murphy-Gardner of Ballyclare HS has been hard at work refining and adding to her winning entry “Empowering Communities-targeting innovation at the heart of learning“.
Christine will be competing against teachers from across Western Europe and Central Eastern Europe for one of the 18 winning submissions. By winning in Moscow, not only would she be considered one of the most innovative teachers in Europe , but she would also win a place in this year’s Worldwide IEF taking place in Washington DC in October.
As you know, NI and Ireland have been extremely successful at these events over the years and I’m very confident that Christine will continue to “carry the flag” for NI Education. Be sure to visit this site and follow me on Twitter to keep up to date with her progress.
As a little taster, you can watch this video of Barry Corrigan, our 1st ever WWIEF winner from Capetown.
