North Carolina and Microsoft IT Academy

I thought this case study might be of interest to both individual schools and Departments/Ministries of Education. We are constantly looking at more effective ways train people on Microsoft technologies and the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (great name by the way Smile) has taken a bold and innovative approach in preparing students for today’s workplace.

As quoted in the case study:

*Thanks to the NCDPI’s partnership with Microsoft, school districts are saving up to $5 million a year in software, professional development, and other costs; teachers are improving their technology knowledge; and students are building the twenty-first century skills that will make them more marketable to future employers.
