As we prepare to head off to Washington DC for this year’s Worldwide Partners in Learning (PiLs) Global Forum, I wanted to share with you the Virtual Classroom Tours (VCTs) which Christine and Doreen have submitted for the competition. They have both put a monumental amount of work into their submissions and I thank them for their commitment and passion around the work they’ve done.
Doreen’s is: Birds of Bray
This is a very exciting and nervous time for the girls as the Forum will be bringing together the Regional and National Innovative Educator winners from around the globe. There will be over 200 Innovative Teachers from 80+ countries all competing for the Worldwide titles. You can follow all of the activities on this website (I will update daily- hopefully) and on Twitter it will be on the #PILGF hashtag.
In other news- Doreen’s project was highlighted yesterday on RTE Radio 1 and she has created a Movie maker video to support it. I thought I just HAD to share it with you because it is so great. Enjoy and
WISH THE GIRLS LUCK NEXT MONTH!!!
PS- DON’T FOREGT TO GET YOUR ENTRIES FOR THIS YEAR’S COMPETITION IN LISBON IN BY DECEMBER 9TH !!
